Use this guide to quickly configure and launch a package in your STAAH MAX Booking Engine.

Set Up Packages in the Booking Engine

You can watch the following video, STAAH Max V2 - Booking Engine - How to add packages on STAAH, or follow the steps below.

1. Access the Package Setup

  • Log in to your MAX extranet.

  • Navigate to BE Packages from the Booking Engine tab.

2. Create a New Package

  • Click Add to start configuring a new package.

  • Complete the package details—name, description, rates, etc.—as needed.

3. Manage Add-Ons

  • Choose any add-ons to include from the optional extras

  • Click Next to proceed.

4. Attach Rooms and Apply Rate Modifier

  • Select the room types that the package will include.

  • Apply a rate modifier (multiplier or surcharge) as appropriate (e.g., 0.90 for 10% off, 1.10 for 10% markup).

  • Click Next to continue.

5. (Optional) Set Package Validity

If you need to apply date-specific rules:

  • Click Edit Validity.

  • Define bookable dates, minimum or maximum stays, day-specific rates, extra guest charges, and cancellation policies.

  • Click Save.

6. Enable Visibility (Publish)

To make the package bookable:

  • Ensure Public Access is selected (uncheck "Private Access" if needed).

  • Save your changes.

  • Confirm that the package now appears correctly on your Booking Engine.

Quick Help

  • Enable a package on the Booking Engine in STAAH Max

    • Log in to the STAAH Max extranet.

    • Go to the Booking Engine, BE Packages tab.

    • Select the package you want to enable.

    • Untick the Private Access checkbox if it is selected.

    • Tick the Public Access checkbox.

    • Click Save to apply the changes.
