Types of Add-ons

STAAH MAX supports three types of add-ons, each designed for different use cases:

1. Recurring Add-ons

  • Charged per night of the guest’s stay.

  • Common examples: Dinner, Parking, Daily Spa Access.

  • Calculation:
If a guest books 2 nights for 2 adults and 1 child, and dinner is priced at ₹20/adult and ₹7/child:

    • Total = (2 × ₹20 × 2 nights) + (1 × ₹7 × 2 nights) = ₹94

2. One-Off Add-ons

  • Charged once per booking.

  • Common examples: Airport Transfer, Welcome Gift.

  • Can be applied per booking or per guest.

3. Activity Add-ons

  • Charged once, typically for experiences or events.

  • Common examples: Wine Tasting Tour, City Excursion.

  • Can be priced per guest or per booking.

  • Supports variable pricing for specific days (e.g., weekend rates).

How Add-ons Are Calculated

Add-ons are added to the base package rate.
For example:

  • Room rate: ₹100

  • Add-ons: 2 adults × ₹20 + 1 child × ₹15 = ₹55

  • Total displayed rate = ₹100 + ₹55 = ₹155

Note: Add-on pricing does not dynamically adjust based on the number of guests searched. It’s calculated based on the quantity and type of addon selected.
