How do I create an Add-on
Navigate to Booking Engine Add-ons
Login to extranet > Booking Engine > Hot Links > Add-Ons
Create Add-on
Select New Add-on, to divert to Add-on setup, follow prompts
Basic Information
Enter Add-on name and description
Mandatory Add-on, if enabled the addon is mandatory for bookings made for room types included in mandatory add-on setup. Example use could be linen fee
Exclude from packages, will hide Add-on on Booking Engine when booker has selected excluded package
Image, set an image for Add-on. Displayed on Booking Engine
Pricing Configuration
Add-on Type, 3 options available
Recurring - automatically applies to each day booked (example breakfast)
One Off - applies once, regardless of nights stayed (example late check-out)
Activity - not assigned to days booked, but rather a set time table or session (example spa or tour). Option to set Time/Variable pricing will apply when selected
Charge Type, charge based on Quantity or Guest
Quantity - the booker will see option to add quantity (example Bottle of Wine)
Guest - the booker can select the number of guests to include in add-on. This will present option to set rate for Adult and Children
Add-on Calculation how are Add-ons calculated in bookings
Add-ons are added to the base package rate.
For example:
Room rate: ₹100
Add-ons: 2 adults × ₹20 + 1 child × ₹15 = ₹55
Total displayed rate = ₹100 + ₹55 = ₹155
Note: Add-on pricing does not dynamically adjust based on the number of guests searched. It’s calculated based on the quantity and type of addon selected.
