You may allocate Availability using STAAH MAX to increase or decrease Availability (or update your inventory) in the following ways.

MANUAL

In the absence of a PMS, you can manage your availability on STAAH manually by using the following options.

The AVAILABILITY screen displays all availability in the system. Availability may be uploaded into the system.

  • Update the Availability in the relevant boxes on the AVAILABILITY screen as shown in the example screenshot, and Hit Save.

  • Update using BULK UPDATE to bulk upload Availability into the System. Below is a screenshot where you can find it.

Default Availability

Default Availability is the setup of a minimum number of rooms per Room Type that can be pushed out by the Channel Manager, in the absence of any availability being loaded into the system.

The Setup of Default Availability ensures that you always have availability pushed out to channels and that your property is always bookable.

You may opt to have Default availability set for only one Room type or a limited number of Room types.

Default Availability is set up within each Room Type. Below is the screenshot where it's found.

Quick Answers

  • Availability differs between STAAH Max and PMS

    • A difference in availability between STAAH Max and the property's PMS indicates that availability may not be auto-syncing.

    • When this occurs, the PMS should be contacted immediately to investigate the sync issue. STAAH Support should also be informed so that relevant logs can be shared with the PMS for further analysis.

  • View connected OTAs for a room type in STAAH Max

    • Log in to the STAAH Max extranet.

    • Go to the Availability Calendar.

    • Hover over the chain icon next to the room type name.

    • View the list of OTAs connected to that room type.

  • Check the rate mode in the Availability tab in STAAH Max

    • Log in to the STAAH Max extranet.

    • Go to Setup > Availability Calendars.

    • Click Control Options > Mode.

    • Check the Manual Rate radio button:

      • If ticked, the rate mode is Manual.

      • If unticked, the rate mode is Dynamic.

  • Check if the Inventory is Pushed from the PMS to STAAH Max

    • Log in to STAAH Max.

    • Go to Availability Calendar.

    • In the Control Options dropdown, select Log.

    • Click the file icon for the specific date and room you want to check.

    • View the log to see all updates made to availability from the PMS.
