This allows properties to apply extra guest charges within packages using either a fixed rate or a percentage-based calculation.
Manage Extra Guest Charges on Packages

Log in to the STAAH MAX extranet.
Go to BE Packages in the Booking Engine Tab.
Select the Room Types tab.
Click the Extra Guest icon next to the room type you want to configure.
Option 1: Percentage-Based Charge
Calculates the extra guest charge based on the combined Room Rate and Package Surcharge.
Formula Example:
Base Rate: $100
Package Surcharge: $50
Extra Guest Multiplier:
0.10Extra Guest Charge = ($100 + $50) × 0.10 = $15
Option 2: Fixed Rate Charge
Applies a set amount regardless of the room or package rate.
Example: Add $20 per extra guest.
Final Steps
After entering the charge details, click Close on the pop-up.
Click Save to apply the changes.
The updated charges will automatically reflect on the Booking Engine.
