The Package Validity feature in STAAH MAX allows properties to define when a package is available for booking.
Validity Period setup options
Setting | Description |
Validity Dates | Define the start and end dates for the package. Leave the end date blank for ongoing packages like Best Available Rate. |
Minimum Length of Stay | Set the minimum number of nights required to book the package. The default is 1 night. |
Maximum Length of Stay | Set the maximum number of nights allowed. The default is 99 nights. |
Valid Days | Choose which days of the week the package is available. All days are selected by default. |
Rate Modifier (Multiplier/Surcharge) | Apply a rate adjustment for the selected validity period. This is in addition to the base rate setup. |
Extra Guest Charges | Set different extra adult/child charges for specific dates. |
Cancellation Policy | Assign a cancellation policy based on the check-in date for the selected validity period. If not set, the default package policy applies. |

Log in to the STAAH MAX extranet.
Go to BE Packages in the Booking Engine Tab.
Click Edit on the package you want to update.
Select the Edit Validity option.
Configure the required fields:
Click Save to apply the changes.
Note: You can create multiple validity periods within a single package to accommodate seasonal pricing, special events, or promotional offers.
