The Airpoints feature in STAAH

Airpoints is Air New Zealand’s loyalty programme

STAAH allows Airpoints members to earn points when booking directly through your property’s booking engine—eliminating the need to use third-party platforms.

Steps to enable Airpoints

  1. Go to Booking Engine > Loyalty Rewards.

  2. Enter the API Key and Point Code provided by Airpoints.

  3. Set the maximum and minimum accrual amounts to define the earning range.

  4. Define the spend amount required to earn 1 Airpoints dollar.

  5. Save the setup to activate the Airpoints field on the booking engine.


Airpoints - Uses for guests

  • The Airpoints field appears in the contact details section of the booking form.

  • Guests enable the toggle and enter their Airpoints membership details.

  • Once enabled, the field becomes mandatory.

  • Membership details are validated before booking confirmation.

  • Airpoints information is included in the confirmation email and visible in the extranet.


Managing Airpoints in the extranet

  • Bookings with Airpoints are marked with an icon:

    • Green – Points allocated.

    • Yellow – Ready to allocate.

    • Grey – Awaiting checkout.

    • Red – Error during allocation.

  • Use the Approve button to allocate points post-checkout.

  • Filter bookings using the Loyalty search option.
