The security deposit feature allows vacation rental properties to apply a refundable charge at the room level.
The deposit amount is displayed once the guest selects a room or package.
A tooltip icon (i) shows the deposit message on the booking engine.
The deposit is visible in:
Advanced booking search
Stayview
Booking confirmation email
Booking notification
Applies to bookings made via the MAX Booking Engine and CRS.
Supported for both parent and linked rooms.
Add a Security deposit in STAAH MAX
You can watch the video STAAH MAX V2 - Vacation Rental - How to add Security deposit? and follow the steps below.
Go to Setup > Room Types in the extranet.
Click Edit for the room type you want to update.
Scroll to the Security Deposit section.
Enter a fixed amount or percentage value.
Add a custom message to explain the deposit policy.
Click Save to apply the changes.
