Types of payment options for CRS bookings

These options vary based on the package setup and allow properties to manage how payments and confirmations are handled.

Steps to add payment options for CRS bookings

  1. Go to the MAX extranet and click the Bookings tab.

  2. Click the New Booking Tab.

  3. Choose the Payment Option based on the selected package.

Payment Options Overview

Non-Prepay Packages

These packages require a credit card to secure the booking, but do not collect payment up front.

  1. Card collection via email

    • An email is sent to the guest to collect credit card details.

    • Once received, the booking is confirmed, and a confirmation email is sent to the property and the guest.

  2. No card collection

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • Confirmation email is sent to the property and the guest.

  3. No card collection – no email

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • No confirmation email is sent.


Card Not Required Packages

These packages do not require a credit card to secure the booking.

  1. Email

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • Confirmation email is sent to the property and the guest.

  2. No email

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • No confirmation email is sent.


Prepay Packages

These packages require payment to secure the booking.

  1. Payment via email

    • An email is sent to the guest to collect payment via the integrated payment gateway.

    • Once payment is received, the booking is confirmed, and a confirmation email is sent.

  2. No payment via email

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • Confirmation email is sent.

  3. No payment – no email

    • Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • No confirmation email is sent.
