Add a service to an existing CRS booking

This helps upsell bookings and streamline guest communication.

The Add Service feature in STAAH Max CRS allows properties to include additional services, such as airport transfers or meals, to existing direct bookings.

Steps to Add a Service

  1. From the MAX extranet, go to the Bookings Tab.

  2. Select the booking to which you want to add a service.

  3. Click the Add service button.

  4. In the pop-up window:

    • Enter the Service Name (e.g., Airport Transfer).

    • Enter the Service Amount.

    • Optionally, add Taxes (calculated from the service amount).

    • Add any Additional Information relevant to the service.

  5. Choose whether to send an email to the guest confirming the added service.

    • You can disable this email if preferred.

  6. If your property has Payment Gateway integration, use Guest Pay to generate payment for the added service.

  7. Once submitted:

    • The booking status will be updated to reflect the modification.

    • Properties with PMS integration will receive the updated booking total and service details.

    • The service history will be recorded in the Advanced Booking Search module and Stayview.

Additional information

  1. Available for bookings made via the MAX Booking engine and CRS.

  2. The service amount is added to the total booking value.

  3. An email is sent to the booker confirming the additional service charges. Option to disable email to the guest when creating a service.

  4. Properties with Payment gateway integration can use Guest Pay to generate payment for added services.

  5. Booking status is modified when a service is added.

  6. Properties with a PMS connection will receive the new total and added services.

  7. Service history is available in the Advanced Booking search module and Stayview.
