Add internal comments to the CRS bookings

This help teams track special requests, guest preferences, or operational notes.

The Internal Comments feature in STAAH Max allows properties to add private notes to bookings. These comments are visible only within the MAX extranet and are not shared with guests.

Add internal comments to the CRS bookings

Feature Details

  • Comments are visible only in the MAX extranet.

  • Comments are sent to PMS and treated as booking modifications.

  • Each comment includes:

    • Timestamp

    • The user who posted it

  • Comments are listed in reverse chronological order (most recent first).

  • It's available for all bookings, including OTA and direct.


For Existing Bookings

  1. Log in to the MAX extranet.

  2. Go to the Stay View module.

  3. Select the booking you want to update.

  4. Click Manage.

  5. Scroll to the Comment section.

  6. Type your internal comment.

  7. Click Post to save the comment.

For New Bookings

  1. Go to the Manage Rooms module.

  2. Select the dates and room to begin the booking process.

  3. Fill in the booking details.

  4. In the Comment section, type your internal note.

  5. Click Post, then complete the booking.
