This gives guests more control and reduces manual cancellation requests for your team.

The Manage Booking feature in SwiftBook allows guests to cancel their bookings directly from your property’s website or Booking Engine

Uses of the Enable or Disable Manage Booking Feature in SwiftBook

  • Guests can cancel bookings independently.

  • The cancellation option appears on the Booking Engine interface.

  • An email confirmation is sent to the guest after cancellation.

  • The Manage Booking feature is enabled by default.

Enable or Disable the Manage Booking Feature in SwiftBook.

  1. Log in to the STAAH MAX extranet.

  2. Go to BE Permissions in the Booking Engine Tab.

  3. Locate the Manage Booking flag.

  4. Uncheck the box to disable the feature.

  5. Click Update to save your changes.

  6. Once disabled, guests will no longer see the cancellation option on the Booking Engine.

Quick Help

  • The guest manage their bookings directly on the booking engine.

    • On SwiftBook, guests can click the menu icon > Manage Bookings.

    • Guests can: Cancel a booking by entering the booking details. An email with cancellation instructions is sent to their registered email.

    • Sign in to view and cancel bookings linked to their email address.
