To Set Up Matrix Revenue Control

You can watch the following video, STAAH Max V2 - How to enable and manage dynamic rates, and follow the steps below.

The setup involves two main steps:

  1. Applying seasons to date ranges

  2. Setting rates based on inventory blocks per room type

Step 1: Apply Seasons

  1. Log in to the MAX extranet.

  2. Go to Dynamic Rates from the Megamenu.

  3. Click the From Date and drag to select the To Date.

  4. Choose a season from the dropdown (e.g., Default, Shoulder, Low, Peak, High).

  5. Click Submit.

  6. To apply multiple seasons:

    • Use the Bulk Update option.

    • Click the + icon to add more date ranges.

Step 2: Set Rates by Inventory Block

  1. Select the Room Type.

  2. Choose the Season.

  3. Set rates for each inventory block (tier).

    • Example:

      • 10–5 rooms: Rate = 300

      • 4–2 rooms: Rate = 400

  4. The maximum inventory count is based on the room type setup.

  5. After entering rates for each block, click Save.

  6. A new block will appear for the next tier.

  7. Repeat until rates are set from full inventory down to zero.
