To Access the feature:
Login to the extranet using your Group Login.
Go to the Booking Engine module.
Open Hot Links.
Select Travel Agent & Corporate Code to access the feature.
Within this module, you can
Create a Group level Travel Agent - easy to do, simply follow prompts, and select properties you want the Travel Agent to have access to.
Obtain Group Travel Agent Booking engine - select and provide to Travel Agents you have set up from the group
View and Edit Group level Travel agents - see Travel Agents setup with their respective configuration
Edit Travel Agent Code - access to edit properties and packages linked to Travel Agent
Manage Travel Agent - enable/disable
View and manage linked properties - easy access just to linked properties, for easier management
Actions - View, edit, or delete Travel agent & create sub-users
View - see properties and packages linked to Travel Agent
Edit - view Travel Agent setup with option to link/unlink properties
To add a new Travel Agent.
Go to Group Booking Engine > Travel Agent & Corporate Travel.
Click Travel Agents to open the module.
If a promo code exists, select it; otherwise, click Create TA code.
Alternatively, create a TA code via Corporate/Promo > Add > Travel Agent Code.
Fill in the required details and click Save.
Go back to the Travel Agents module and click Add Travel Agent.
Enter the agent’s email. If it exists, details will auto-fill; otherwise, complete the form manually.
Link the TA profile to an existing package or create a new one.
When wanting to manage packages, select point 3 (edit under the Travel Agent codes column).
There will be 2 tabs to select
Travel Agent code - view and edit data related to the TA code
Properties - view and edit property, discount and packages assigned to Travel Agent
For a Travel Agent to use the portal
Travel agents receive a unique login to the Travel Agent Portal.
The Travel agent can log in using the URL provided by the property from the below option.
After logging in, agents can:
View and manage their bookings.
Search by guest name, booking ID, or travel dates.
Access booking history and filter by status.
Bookings made via the portal are tracked and visible in the booking reports.
If a promo code is invalid or expired, the system will notify the agent.
Agents can reset their password using the Forgot Password option.
Booking Engine display:
Drop down menu to search a selected property.
To access property, simply select Book for that property.
View existing bookings through the bookings tab
Master Travel Agent can create additional users through the profile tab
