Creating a New Booking.com Legal Entity & Listing

Create and manage Booking.com listings directly in STAAH MAX, saving time, avoiding duplicate logins, and ensuring real-time updates.

Steps to Start

  1. Log in to your STAAH MAX extranet.

  2. From the Channels tab and select Booking.com.

  3. On the mapping page, if prompted with No, I don’t, choose it to start creating a brand-new Booking.com listing and legal entity.

Important: Ensure the email you provide is accurate—Booking.com will send an agreement that must be signed to make your property bookable.

Add the Legal Entity ID instead of an email address when connecting multiple group properties to an existing Booking.com account. Using an email address initiates the creation of a new account, resulting in an error if that email already exists under another Booking.com account.

Follow the Onboarding Wizard: Below are the screenshots for reference.

The setup wizard will guide you through the following tabs (auto-progressing when you click Next):

  1. Property Information

    • Enter all required details about your property.

  2. Room Information – Room Info

    • Fill in essential fields describing each room type.

  3. Room Information – Image Info

    • Upload at least four images, and use checkboxes to select them.

  4. Room Information – Rate Info

    • Map room types to existing Booking.com rate plans or scroll to create a new rate plan.

  5. Product

    • Assign a cancellation policy and a meal type (both set up via Booking.com).

  6. Booking.com Response

    • Wait for the data to load, then click Next to continue.

  7. Mapping Page

    • Review created room and rate plans.

    • Use Edit Mapping to adjust guest types, formulas, and more.

    • Finally, click Finish, which triggers a sync with Booking.com.
