Manage Agoda OTA Promotions in STAAH

The OTA Promotions feature in STAAH Max V2 allows you to create and manage promotional offers for Agoda directly from the Channel Manager.

Promotions can either be pulled from existing promotions from Agoda or created new ones tailored to the property’s strategy.

Promotion Management Options

Option 1: Pull Existing Promotions

  • Go to the OTA Promotion tab from the Mega Menu in the MAX extranet.

  • Click Get Promotion.

  • Select the Agoda listing you want to sync.

  • Promotions created in the Agoda extranet will be pulled into STAAH Max.

Option 2: Create New Promotions

  • Click Add Promotion.

  • Enter the promotion name, select Agoda as the channel, and choose the promotion type.

  • Select the Channel ID and proceed to configure the promotion.

Option 3: Multi-Rate Plan Setup

  • After selecting the promotion type, choose multiple Room/Rate Plan combinations to apply the promotion.

  • The list of available rooms and rate plans is based on what’s mapped to the selected Agoda listing ID.

  • This allows broader coverage across different room types and pricing strategies.


Supported Promotion Types

  • Basic: Simple discount on selected rooms and rates.

  • Early Booker: Targets guests booking well in advance.

  • Last Minute: Attracts guests booking close to the stay date.

  • Express Tonight: For same-day bookings.

  • Long Stay: Rewards guests staying multiple nights.

  • 72 Hours: Limited-time offers.

  • Special Offer: Custom promotions with flexible rules.


Promotion Setup Details

  • Booking Dates: Define when guests must book to qualify.

  • Stay Dates: Set the eligible stay period.

  • Booking Time: Optionally restrict promotion to specific hours (e.g. 5pm–7pm).

  • Custom Days: Apply promotions to selected days of the week.

  • Discount Type:

    • Amount per night

    • Amount per booking

    • Percentage per night

    • Free nights (e.g. every 2nd night free)

  • Recurring Option: Enable recurring free nights.

  • Optional Features:

    • Blackout Dates: Exclude specific dates.

    • Cancellation Policy: Define refund rules.

    • Minimum Rooms: Set a minimum number of rooms required.

    • Stackable: Combine with other promotions.

    • Segments: Target specific guest segments (predefined by Agoda).


Tip: Use targeted promotions like Early Booker or Express Tonight to match guest booking behaviour and increase conversion during low-demand periods.
