Set up of the Promo Code Management on the voucher system
Log in to the Vouchers extranet.
Navigate to the Package tab from the Menu.
Click the Promo Code button to create a new promo code.
Fill in the necessary details, including the promo name, code, type, value, validity, and other relevant fields based on the specific requirements.
Hover over the tooltips next to certain fields for additional guidance.
Once all details are filled in, click Save to complete the setup.
The newly created promo code will appear on the listing page.
Promo Code Management
From the Promo Listing page, you can edit, delete, view the promo status, or access fixed promo links.
Use the filter search to quickly distinguish between active, expired, inactive, or counter limit reached promos.
To review activity logs related to promo codes, navigate to User Profile, Activity Logs.
Booking Engine Display
Once promo codes are created from the extranet, they can be used in two ways:
Fixed Promo Link
● Properties can integrate this link with their website, allowing bookers to automatically receive the discount for the associated packages.
● The "Apply Promo Code" field will not be visible on the booking engine.
● Only the packages linked to the promo code will be displayed on the Booking Engine (BE).

Open/Normal BE Link
An "Apply Promo Code" field will be displayed for users to manually enter a promo code.
Note: This field will appear only if at least one active promo code is configured.
Once a booker enters a valid promo code:
All packages associated with that promo will be displayed.
The promo code field will be open so users can switch between different promo codes (if they have more than one) or remove the applied code from the field.
A detailed breakdown of the discount is displayed on every step of the booking process. The screenshots below are for the same.
The price breakdown can be viewed by clicking the "i" icon next to the highlighted promo code:
Transaction Page
Issued vouchers with promo code discounts can be identified on the Transaction Page.
Use the Promo Code filter to refine transaction searches.
Click the promo code icon to view detailed promo code information.

Email & PDF Enhancements
Email Template Configuration: If a property requests a promo code in their account, ensure that a placeholder for the promo code is set up in the email templates without fail. This is essential for the promo bifurcation to be displayed correctly in the email.
PDF Enhancement: This enhancement currently applies only to the default PDF layout. The promo details will be displayed only if a promo code has been configured and applied to a booking.
For customized PDF templates, coordinate with the tech team by providing specific customer requirements (placement and content to be displayed).

Reports & Analytics
Promo details have been added to the Package Performance Report.
By default, the report displays data without promotional details.
When filtered by a promo code, the report will include promo code details along with package performance data.
The report can be downloaded in PDF/Excel format.
Note: If a promo code is configured for a group account or a sub-property within a group, the promo code field will appear on both the Group Booking Engine and the sub-property’s Booking Engine, and it will apply to the associated packages.
