1. Room priority display overview:
· Priority Display offers control to determine the order in which room types appear on both the Booking Engine. This gives flexibility to determine which rooms are showcased first, helping guide guests’ attention toward preferred room types and creating a more strategic, tailored booking experience.
· Key features:
· Full control over room type ordering, allowing properties to arrange room types in the sequence that best supports their business goal
· Drives strategic guest attention, helping guide guests toward higher-value or higher-availability rooms by positioning them more prominently
· Easy to update at any time, giving properties the flexibility to adjust room priority as seasonal demand, promotions, or business needs change
2. Changing the room order display
· Step 1 - Navigate to Room types
· Login to extranet > Property settings > Room types
· Step 2 – Updating Room type order
· Select the order icon, on click, a menu listing all room types will appear
· Simply drag and drop each room type to the desired order
· SAVE
3. Booking Engine display
· Once changes have been applied, this is automatically updated on your Booking Engine
· Regardless of whether the view is package or room based, the room priority display will apply
4. Additional information
· Linked rooms automatically move with their parent room, keeping room groupings consistent and organised.
· You can rearrange the order of linked rooms within their parent grouping by simply clicking the arrow to expand, then dragging and dropping them into the desired position.
