Key usage of the Combo Room
Instead of listing every individual room variant separately on booking channels (which can overwhelm guests and complicate management), properties can group similar rooms under one "combo room" listing.

How to set up the Combo Room
When you log in to the STAAH extranet, go to the megamenu.
Under property settings, click on the first option, i.e., room types.
Setup Process
Step 1:
Add combo name.
Select the room types to include in the combo cluster.
Step 2:
Select the default room type: The applicable rate for the combo room will be based on the rate loaded for the default room.
Select Room for Single Occupancy: Single occupancy booking will be automatically assigned to this pre-selected room type
Key Notes
Inventory Management: Combo room inventory = combined availability across all clustered room types.
Rate Strategy: Combo room displays the rate from the designated default room type.
Automatic Room Allocation:
Single occupancy bookings: Automatically assigned to the pre-selected default single occupancy room type from setup
Multi-occupancy bookings: The System allocates the lowest-rate room type within the cluster
