Expedia Content Management

The Expedia Content Management feature in STAAH Max allows you to manage content directly from the Channel Manager.

What’s New

  • A dedicated content management page for both new and existing setups.

  • Enhanced ability to manage room types, rate plans, and images directly from STAAH Max.

  • Support for creating new room types and rate plans within the Channel Manager.

Content Management Options

Option 1: Map to Existing Room/Rate Plan

Link a room type in STAAH Max to an existing Expedia room and rate plan.

  • Go to Channels > Expedia > Units Mapped.

  • Click Map a Room.

  • Select the Channel Room Name and Rate Plan.

  • Enter the Package Code (mandatory for booking delivery).

  • Mapping IDs (Room ID, Board ID, Contract ID, etc.) are auto-filled.

  • Choose between Room-Based Pricing or Occupancy-Based Pricing (OBP).

  • Enable the OBP flag in the Channel Password module if using OBP.


Option 2: Manage Existing Room Content

Update room details and rate plan information.

  • Click to open the Content Wizard.

  • Step 1: Room Information

    • Update descriptions, amenities, and upload images.

    • Minimum 3 high-resolution images (2880+ pixels).

    • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, BMP.

    • Images below 650×650 pixels will be rejected.

  • Step 2: Rate Information

    • Edit mapped rate plans.

    • Map to an existing Expedia rate plan.

    • Create a new rate plan and link it to the room.


Option 3: Create a New Room Type on Expedia

Use this option to add a completely new room type to your Expedia listing.

  • From the Content Wizard, select Add Room Type.

  • Enter room name, description, occupancy details, and amenities.

  • Upload required images (minimum 3, high resolution).

  • Once saved, the new room type will be synced with Expedia and available for mapping.
