How to create Promo Code
Navigate to Promo Code
Login to extranet > Booking Engine > Hot Links > Promo Code
Create Promo Code
Select 'Add' to create a promo code
Complete promo code information, * indicates mandatory fields
Name
Discount label - label that will display when promo code applied (optional)
Code - what the customer will enter as Promo Code
Cancellation policy (optional) - default package policy will apply
Description (optional) - policy applicable to Promo Code, default package description will apply
Billing details (optional) - visible within extranet only
Discount - enter amount and select type % or fixed
Manage Rates Availability set what packages are associated with promo code. Simply check applicable option
Public Package Rates links the promo code to all public packages. The system will automatically link the promo code with all available public packages.
Selected Packages & Show Public Rates link the promo code to selected public packages while ensuring the promo discount is displayed alongside all other bookable packages. This gives guests the ability to compare prices across all available deals with the promo code discount.
Selected Packages (Secret) Selecting this option means customers using the promo code will only see packages that are eligible for the promo code discount
Additional Promo Code settings
First Night applies discount to first night only, rather than total booking
Hide Promo Code from Confirmation email hides promo code display on confirmation email
Counter set number of bookings can be made using promo code
Hide Billing Address on Booking Engine will hide address details for guest to enter
Purchase Order will not require card or payment to confirm booking (if enabled)
Credit Card choose to collect card details (or payment if package requires deposit)
Apply Validity set validity period for promo code. Stay date, Booking Date and Multiple Validity dates supported
Multi-Codes create a list of sub-codes to promo code, more details here
Bulk Promo code create a list of unique sub-codes linked to promo code. Simply enter the number of unique codes more details here

Edit or delete promo codes
Counter View usage counter and bookings made with the code.

Fixed-rate promo codes i.e weddings where rooms are offered at a fixed rate
Create a new package and set fixed value in package surcharge
Fixed link generates booking engine with promo code embedded, booker cannot remove promo
