What is Multi-Code feature?
This feature lets you attach a list of unique sub-codes to a single promo code.
For example, it's commonly used for credit card promotions — where a property wants to offer special rates only to holders of a specific card, identified by the card's BIN number. With this feature, you can create one promo code and link it to one or more BIN numbers.
Guests can only unlock these rates by entering a valid sub-code into the multi-code widget on the booking engine

What is BIN number?
The term bank identification number (BIN) refers to the initial set of four to six numbers that appear on a payment card. This set of numbers identifies the institution that issues the card and is key in the process of matching transactions to the issuer of the charge card
Where is the Multi-Code Promo Features
Navigate to Promo code
Login to extranet > Booking Engine > Hot Links > Promo Code
Create Multi-Code Promo
Select 'Add' to create a promo code
Complete promo code information as per normal.
Within the Validity & Codes section, you will see a check box 'Multi-Codes'. Simply check box to enable
A box will appear to enter multi-codes (i.e BIN credit card numbers)
Option to add multiple multi-codes, use comma to separate each code
This is the code that the booker will use to access special rates.
Booker must enter code into multi-code widget
SAVE - this will save data and create a Multi-Code Widget
How can customers book using their Multi-Code access is via the Multi-Code widget. Customers won't be able to access these rates through the standard Booking Engine by entering their BIN in the promo field. You can generate a widget to embed to your website
Generate Multi-Code Widget
Within the promo code module, locate the Multi-Code promo that you have created
Select 'Widget' from the Actions menu for that code
Copy widget script - and provide to your website developer to implement on to your website
Booking Journey once the widget has been implemented on the website, it is live for bookings. Guests navigate to widget
Guests then enter stay dates and multi code in widget to divert to Booking Engine
• Booking engine will display packages/rooms assigned to promo code
Additional Information
• It is not possible to use the promo code to book directly via booking engine
• The booking engine does not validate customer credit card BIN number during the booking process
• Promo code cannot be used on Multi-code widget.
