Member Rate Overview: The Member Rate is a booker-driven loyalty feature that allows guests to subscribe to promotions, activities, and events in exchange for access to discounted booking rates. As soon as a guest is directed to the booking engine, they can opt in to membership — giving them full transparency into both the standard and discounted rates before completing their booking.

How to create member setup
Navigate to Promo Code module
Login to extranet > Booking Engine > Hot links > Promo Code
Select drop down option next to 'Add' > select Member rate
Member rate Setup
Enter name
Select discount type - flat or percentage
Enter amount
SAVE
Special Note Promo code is prepopulated and non editable. If there is an existing 'Member rate' in place, the name is non-editable. Property can adjust discount as required
The customer journey - how it works
Once Member rate is created, the Member sign up is automatically visible on the Booking Engine. Located near the widget, providing easy access and high visibility
On click, the guest is prompted to submit their email address and accept disclaimer
The member rate is automatically displayed to the booker. The booker will see the rate before discount (strikeout rate) and new rate
Additional Information
Property can view member rate bookings by searching the MBR promo code
We accept all email addresses for member rates, and no validation is applied. If you want to restrict it, it's best to use the promo code feature
