Enhancement: Package name display on Booking engine

What is new: Introducing the Package name display field, that allows properties to customise the name displayed on the Booking Engine without impacting the display in Max extranet. This provides added flexibility and control of what you want customers to see on your Booking Engine

Example case use:

  • A property that supports multi-currency, offers the same deal for each currency

  • Each package that the property offers is created for each currency they support

  • Which results in multiple packages with the same name

  • This can lead to confusion within the extranet as you have many packages with the same name, as the display in extranet is also reflected on the Booking engine

  • The new field allows the property to create a name that is displayed to the customer only

  • No impact to extranet, the property can include the currency within the package name avoiding confusion to setup within the extranet

Where:

Extranet > Packages > Edit package > BE Display name

Enter the package name you want displayed on the Booking Engine

Product: SwiftBook Booking engine

Enhancement: Room/Package view selection

What is new: A new enhancement to an existing Booking engine feature, designed to deliver a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

On the Booking engine, customer can select how they want to view available offers from the property - by Room or packages.

Previously, users saw the current view with a drop down to see the alternative.

Now, the booking engine will display both options in a toggle style. The highlighted option is the current view, with a simple select to switch views. This toggle also includes a hover over, highlighting to customers what this relates too
