Module: Permissions > User Permissions

New Permission: PMS Configuration

Overview:

Previously, it wasn't possible to grant sub-users access to PMS functions. We've now enhanced the permissions module by adding "PMS Configuration" as an assignable permission, so this access can be granted to sub-users.

Module: Bookings

Action: View History

Enhancement: Booking delivery status and PMS Logs

Enhancement

The booking delivery status to the PMS, along with the booking's PMS log, is now available under 'View History'. For PMS systems that use a PULL mechanism, the log may contain multiple booking entries — to make the relevant one easier to spot, the booking number is highlighted in yellow. Feature: Special Request Field

Enhancement: Permission to hide 'Special Request' field

Overview

By default, the 'Special Request' field is enabled and visible to bookers. Properties that don't wish to accept special requests can now hide this field.

How to enable this

Booking Engine > BE Permissions > Hide Special Request

Module: Bookings

New Search/ Filter: POS

📌 Overview

Added POS (Point of Sale) as a searchable/filterable column in Bookings. By default, it's hidden and can be enabled via 'Show Columns'. This allows properties to easily check bookings from a channel based on POS.

How it works

Search via column:

  • Enable POS via 'Show Columns'

  • Click on the POS filter

  • Type the POS, or part of it, to search

Search via Filter By:

  • Select Point Of Sale from 'Filter By'

  • Type the POS, or part of it, in the Point of Sale field

  • Click Search

Module: Channels

New Feature: AI-Powered Mapping Suggestions

Overview

This feature is already available to Evo customers. We have now rolled out AI Suggestion, a smart new way to speed up channel mapping for all Max customers. This feature is now available in Max extranet. Look for the AI Suggestion button at the top right of the mapping screen (when available).

How it works:

  1. Enable the channel as normal.

  2. By default, the channel is set to standard mapping mode.

  3. The AI Suggestion mapping tool is only available for new mappings and any pending mappings for a connected channel.

  4. The button to switch to AI Suggestion can be found on the 'Unmapped' page.

  5. Click the AI Suggestion button

  6. The system uses AI to match your unmapped rate plans against the corresponding PMS room/rate combinations

  7. Each suggested match displays a match confidence percentage, so you know how reliable the mapping is

  8. Review the suggestions and manually adjust any mapping before confirming

  9. Complete the remaining configuration as required

Notes:

  • It's rolling out gradually, so it may not appear on all channels just yet

  • AI Suggestion only applies to new mappings (new connections / unmapped rate plans)

Module: Channels > Channel Password

New Feature: Disable Inventory Splitting

📌 Overview

We've added a new permission for channels that support inventory at the rate plan level.

Some OTAs manage inventory at the room/rate plan level. By default, to reduce overbooking risk, Max automatically splits available room inventory and distributes it across all rate plans linked to that room type. You can now control this behavior at the property/channel level — if a property doesn't want inventory auto-split across rate plans, simply enable the new flag and Max will stop dividing the inventory automatically.

How it Works / Enable

Channels > Click on channel tile > Edit Channel Password > Enable the toggle for 'Disable Inventory Splitting'

No action is needed unless you want to change the default behavior.

Channels with split inventory logic enabled by default:

  • HRS.com

  • Tripmax.in (Formerly BookingDirect)

  • OTS Globe

  • Convergent International

  • Hotelinx

  • Shiji Distribution Solutions

  • Readyplanet TravelTech

  • OpenGDS

Module: Booking Engine > Settings > BE Themes

Feature: Datepicker Design

Enhancement: Display of rates in calendar

Overview

Both datepicker designs now support the option to disable the display of nightly rates in the widget calendar.

By default, nightly rates are displayed in the calendar, and the toggle is enabled. Disable the toggle to hide nightly rates from the calendar.

How to Enable

  • Datepicker Design

  • Show rates on datepicker

  • Toggle Off

New Feature: Currency Converter for Payments

📌 Overview

Rates managed in Max and displayed on the booking engine are shown in the property's default (sell) currency. Properties can be configured for bookers to pay in another settlement currency. SwiftBook will automatically convert the rate to the required settlement currency before passing it to the payment gateway. The property must ensure the settlement currency is supported by its payment gateway.

How to Set Up

  • Go to Booking Engine > BE Settings > Currency Converter Configuration

  • Select the Sell Currency (based on the property's currency configuration)

  • Select the Payment Currency

Booker Experience

  • Rates displayed on SwiftBook remain in the default (sell) currency

  • At checkout, the booker will see the converted amount in the selected settlement currency

  • The converted amount is passed through to the payment gateway for payment

Display: Maximum Guests Allowed

📌 Overview

Previously, only the maximum guest count was indicated. For clarity, we now clearly display the breakdown — the maximum number of adults, children, and total guests allowed for a room type.

NEW Display

The updated display shows a breakdown panel (see screenshot) with:

  • Adults — max allowed

  • Children — max allowed

  • Guests Allowed — max total allowed
