Booking Engine: Pay Later is a permission that properties can enable to give guests the option to pay for their booking at a later date, rather than at the time of booking. This feature is only applicable to properties with a payment gateway configured. By default, payment is collected at the time of booking; enabling this flag allows guests to choose between paying now or paying later, subject to package conditions

Where is the Pay Later flag
Navigate to BE Settings
Login to extranet > Booking Engine > BE Settings
Scroll to Payment Connect' section
Enable Pay Later flag, once enabled you then select your default payment method (Pay Now or Pay Later)
Booking Engine display & Package setup - Setup and Conditions within the package setup > Payment Settings, this setup determines what is visible to the booker on the Booking Engine
Hotel Collect The booker will be presented with both Pay Now or Pay Later
Deposit The booker is diverted to Payment Gateway to proceed payment to confirm booking
No CC Required This means no payment or credit card details will be collected at the time of booking.
